Forgive me reader, for I have sinned, it has been 22 days since my last blogfession. You see, we have been on a internet free vacation and otherwise just sporting a busy summer. Yeah, excuses, excuses…

But here is hopefully a little inspiration for the grill. Succulent, tender, creamy, tangy yoghurt marinated chicken. Hot and sweet chili scampi. Rich and sweet BBQ pork. Crunchy, sweet vegetables…Go get fired up!

Soulfood and then some…

Finally (?) home and back to a somewhat normal state after a fabulous vacation in Florida, a stunning wedding in Leipzig and visits from great friends. I have gotten so used to having at least 7 persons around me at all times that I have some serious social withdrawal symptoms! I find myself calling, planning and booking every spare minute I have – quite mindlessly! Hard to find time for blogging in times like these. Blogging material, however, is bountiful! Stay tuned!

BBQ chicken with wild rice and sugar-roasted walnut salad

What to do with left-over BBQ chicken…? We had some beautiful weather in Stavanger this weekend, so we just had to BBQ yesterday. As always, we ended up making too much food, so I had 4 good pieces of charcoal-grilled BBQ chicken on my hands today. What to do, what to do… After rummaging through my fridge and cupboards, I had some romaine lettuce, rocket salad, wild rice and walnuts laying on my counter.
