Quiche Lorraine

A classic, rustic quiche is one of my favorite dishes. It is light, has a smooth and creamy texture, tastes just as good for breakfast as it does for lunch and even dinner.

Eat it by itself, or with a nice green salad as sidekick. Talk about classy comfort food!

It is not often I have time to go hunting for vintage treasures, but here the other day my baby Noah was a little sick. At naptime I put him in his stroller and went out to wander the streets of Stavanger.

Pumpkin salad

Wandering what to do with the pumpkin meat after carving your Halloween pumpkin? Want to eat something healthy to make up for all the Halloween candy?

This salad is the solution to all your troubles. Well, at least a few. In fact this salad is so good, I would choose it over ANY candy. Now that´s a bold statement! (I can say that on account of I´ve already had my chocolate-fix for the day).

Chocolate cobbler: a success story!

Finally, after a birthday party and a nice long fall break in Spain with our great friends, I have resumed the position:

On the couch, my favorite blanket over me, my macbook on my lap and a cup of tea beside me. And the movie “Coco avant Chanel” playing in the background. Writing about chocolate in the absence of chocolate required a little side-tracker… Chocolate lovers; brace yourselves.
